The Krishi Vigyan Kendra East Khasi Hills located at 5th Mile, Upper Shillong, Meghalaya is an Indian Council of Agricultural Research funded institution (through ICAR-ATARI Zone VII) and established under the administrative control of the Department of Agriculture and Farmers’ Welfare, Government of Meghalaya. The KVK is a Farm Science Centre comprising 6 (six) agricultural science disciplines with each discipline being overseen by the concerned Subject Matter Specialist under the management and supervision of the Senior Scientist and Head.  The KVK works towards fulfilling the mandates laid out by the Indian Council of Agricultural Research which is technology assessment, refinement, and FLD carried out by partnering with  farmers, rural youths and extension personnel of the district.
