Mandate of KVK
- 1.To carry out On-Farm Testing of specific technology (technology assessment and refinement) which are potentially suitable to local farming community.
- 2.To carry out Front Line Demonstration of successful On Farm Trial.
- 3.To recommend the adoption of technology that have been tested and demonstrated successfully to the state extension system.
- 4.To conduct various kinds of trainings, Farmer Scientist Interaction, awareness programs, carry out extension activities and implement flagship program of the government.
- 5.To serve as a knowledge and expertise centre while also publishing content that is useful for the local farming community.
